There are also companies such as Atrend and Obcon who makes a huge variety of custom fit subwoofer boxes from MDF. Many of these boxes are also in Ported or Vented construction. The vented or ported custom subwoofer boxes do tend to produce louder bass then the sealed enclosures. They also are usually a bit less expensive then the molded composite types also.
